Sofía Campoamor is an indie-folk singer-songwriter based in New York City. She approached me to illustrate and design the cover art for her single, 3 or 4. Sofía was interested in a loose, pencil sketch-like illustration with handlettering for the title and artist name. The imagery on the cover is derived from three photographs which she sent to me as reference. The primary focus of the illustration is the figure and the balloons, I eliminated all other elements present in the photograph to create a simple and clean design.

Later in the year, I also illustrated and designed the credit listing for her new album, if you knew, I couldn't tell. This illustration is more scenic than figurative, but still ties into the aesthetic world of the single cover with its color palette, sketchy illustration style, and presence of balloons.
Sofía also requested that I handle the type-treatment on the album cover, which I executed in the same style present in the 3 or 4 single cover.
